PTA
PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION (PTA)
Fairview has a strong history of having a healthy, thriving PTA. Every parent/carer can join the PTA, with a committee and office bearers elected each year. The committee coordinates the organisation of a range of fun events for pupils throughout the year. It is an opportunity to strengthen our links with parents and everyone can feel that they have an active role to play. Fundraising from this very active and committed group has helped provide many valuable and appreciated resources that enhance the learning experiences for all our pupils.
The first PTA Meeting of the 26/27 academic year took place on Tuesday 22nd September which was our annual AGM. We are delighted to say that the following parents were elected as the post-holders for the incoming year:
- Chairperson: Fiona King
- Treasurers: Gillian Hamill & Emma Armstrong
- Secretary: Gina Beattie
It was great to see so many parents come along to our first meeting and lovely to see many new faces. If you feel you would be willing to assist with any of our PTA events during the year then please contact Mrs Norris in school or any member of our PTA and we will be in touch.
